We're so excited! We have great camps for our first Dublin Stage School Summer Camps!
So what camps have we got? We have kids camps, teens camps, 1 week camps and 2 week camps. Here's a run down of each:
THE GRUNCH THE MUSICAL
3rd to 7th July 2017, Blackrock, Co Dublin
10.00 to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday
10.00 to 5.00pm with Performance at 4.00pm
Cast - 8 to 12 yrs.
€150 for the camp which includes Costume and Entry to the Show for Family and Friends. 20% discount for siblings and €30.00 booking deposit for each student enrolled.
WINNER! 2012 Children’s musical theatre festival, NYC
We're delighted to have the rights to produce this fun musical. Some of our Senior 2 classes performed 'Jazz Hands' from this at the Christmas Show. The music is really catchy and there's a lots of parts for boys and girls of all ages.
The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?

Performance at 6.00pm Sharp on Friday 21st July 2017.

This camp is specifically aimed at our older students. It will be a intensive two weeks of singing, dance and getting the show complete. A fabulously fun, international award-winning musical based on the adored movie.
"Legally Blonde: The Musical" follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, this musical is so much fun it should be illegal.
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

€95.00 which includes entry to the performance for family & friends on the last day of camp, there is a 20% discount for siblings.
Blackrock Camp is always booked out by the end of May so book now to avoid disappointment.
DSS fully trained and Garda vetted teachers will each have a classroom assistant as an extra pair of hands to help younger students.
This exciting intensive Summer Camp helps develop skills for young performers. Through theatre games, character creation, singing, dancing and lots of imagination, students will learn material from different styles and genres which they will perform for you at the end of the week with confidence and a big smile.
